The 1500m swim, in waters sheltered by the breakwater, takes competitors to on a loop close to 2 beautiful coves, Churston and Fishcombe, before heading back to the slipway to enter T1.
The 40km bike leg consists of a single lap, taking both roads through the town and country lanes to Kingswear and back, before venturing on a tour through Galmpton and surrounding villages, finally heading back into Brixham to enter T2. The route involves a number of challenging climbs, followed by some exhilarating descents, with beautiful views of both Torbay and Dartmouth throughout.
The 10km run takes in some of Brixham’s most famous and beautiful landmarks. Straight out of T2, competitors will run around the harbour, past the William of Orange statue, and out and along the breakwater. The runners will then head out to the Napoleonic Fort at Berry Head, before looping through Brixham, back around the harbour, through the beautiful Battery Gardens to finish back at Oxen Cove.
